STEP ONE: Object before September 17, 2018 (or you are deemed to accept) – COMPLETE
STEP TWO: Object again before November 8, 2018 through the Environmental Bill of Rights
STEP THREE: James Dick has 2 years to get back to you. There is a lot of speculation that James Dick will choose busy times of the year, such as Christmas, March Break or the summer, to send you your “final notice” to which you only have 20 days to reply. It’s difficult to predict the timing, but make sure you are checking your mailbox all the same.
STEP FOUR: Once you receive a response back from James Dick, if it is the final response, they will have to tell you you have 20 days to reply. Reach out to A.C.T.I.O.N. for guidance on your response if you need it. Please remember, if you do not respond within 20 days stating that you still object, then your concerns are deemed to have been dealt with (whether you agree or not).
STEP FIVE: The MNRF looks at the entirety of the application and either recommends a license or sends the application to LPAT.
